Future Rangers at World Ice Arena

ages 5-10

The Future Rangers program incorporates the most current and innovative teaching ideas available today. Our teaching staff has a wealth of experience at all levels, is ready to develop your child's skills, and introduce them to the great game of hockey. Our program offers the best methods of starting beginning players on the right path to a productive and enjoyable experience in our sport. Coached by Eric D'Appolonia
Coach Eric has 20 years of ice hockey experience. Eric started playing ice hockey at the age of 3 and began to assist with coaching at the age of 14. This past May, Eric graduated from The State University of New York at Cortland where he played ACHA Division 1 hockey.

       Learn to Play Hockey     
· To learn the basic skills required to skate and play the game of hockey
· To develop an understanding of basic teamwork through participation in a variety of activities
  and adapted game situations
· To have fun and engage in physical activity
· To be introduced to the concepts of cooperation, fair play, and sportsmanship
· Focuses on basic hockey skills; skating, puck-handling, passing and shooting.
    
                        

Saturday or Sunday 10:30-11:30am

Must be registered with USA Hockey
Every student should be able to ice skate prior to this class (have passed Pre-Alpha or Tot 2).

Full hockey equipment required:
helmet with shield, mouth piece, neck guard, stick, shoulder pads, shin guards, hockey socks, elbow pads, gloves and skates.
